When we first set out to build Hay-House Financial Services, one of the biggest decisions we faced wasn’t about numbers, strategy or services- it was all about a name.
We didn’t want just a name that sounded good, we wanted one that meant something. Something that reflected who we are, what we believe and how we provide a service to clients. And that’s how Hay-House Financial Services was born.
Story behind the name
The dash within the name “Hay-House” represents the dash within the Company Director’s name Sarah-Louise. There are many interpretations of the name “Hay-House Financial Services”, the word “Hay” suggests something natural, humble and foundational, like the way hay supports livestock and farming for example the backbone of early economies. It symbolises basic needs, sustainability and hard work.
The word “House” then implies shelter, stability and trust. A house is where you build your life, protect what matters and plan for the future. Together it symbolises a grounded, dependable company that helps clients build financial security from the ground up like the property ladder which clients climb throughout their lifetime and how we can be there every step of the way.

At the heart of the visual identity is a striking house-shaped logo, crafted from fine, linear elements that subtly form two interlocking “HH” initials.
These letters are stylised in bright, contemporary colours — yellow, purple, mint, and cerise pink — representing diversity, energy, optimism, and the vibrant lives of the clients we serve.
The long upward lines within the design symbolise growth, stability, and upward momentum, aligning with the aspirations of homeowners and policyholders alike.
